August Open Letter

Good afternoon,

The voices of Jewish New Yorkers matter.

Today, we are asking our community to come together by signing, and sharing with your networks, a letter from the New York Solidarity Network (NYSN) that we will deliver to all five New York City mayoral candidates.

Rising antisemitism, whether in violent attacks, hateful rhetoric, or the demonization of Jewish identity, threatens our community’s sense of safety. Too often, leaders remain silent or treat antisemitism as a debate rather than addressing its root cause or acknowledging the urgent danger it represents.

NYSN is asking all five candidates to show moral clarity by not only speaking out against antisemitism, but to affirm that protecting Jewish institutions will be a priority, and to engage with our diverse community honestly. We are asking the candidates to reject movements and slogans that delegitimize Israel and glorify violence against Jews, and to speak out clearly against antisemitism.

We want to send a powerful message that Jewish New Yorkers cannot be ignored or treated as political pawns. Please sign NYSN’s letter today and share it widely, because your signature tells the candidates that Jewish safety is non negotiable.

Stand with us and demand leadership that protects all New Yorkers.

Please sign and share today.
