The time has come to request your absentee ballot if you plan to be out of the city during the early vote period (June 14-22) or on Primary Election Day itself (June 24). With many non-public schools ending as early as June 13 or by June 18 and summer trips beginning shortly thereafter, it’s important to plan ahead. Requesting a ballot is quick and easy, all it takes is visiting nycabsentee.com to apply. You have until June 10 to request your absentee ballot. All absentee ballots are due back (or postmarked by) June 24 to be counted in the election.
If you plan to be in the city during this timeframe, don’t delay and vote early! It’s fast and easy to find your early voting site, and the perks of voting early means there are no lines. You can cast your ballot anytime between Friday, June 14 and Sunday, June 22.

We also shared in a moment of rare celebration last week: New Jersey’s own Edan Alexander, who celebrated two birthdays (20 and 21) in Hamas captivity, is finally free. He’s in his mother’s arms, and for the first time in over 500 days, she can breathe again. While we are overjoyed by his release, we continue to hope for the same for the rest of the 23 living hostages and the return of the bodies of four other Americans held by Hamas. It’s time for every Jew to be freed from Gaza.
