New York City voters will head to the polls for early voting, which begins tomorrow, Saturday, June 14, and goes through Sunday, June 22, 2025. Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 24th. Ranked choice voting, or instant-runoff voting, means every voter can select up to five (5) candidates to vote for, in order of your preference, in a single election. Each ranked slot is a prized place for you to choose your favorite candidates, as well as block candidates who you absolutely do not want to win by NOT including them in your rankings. It is completely acceptable to rank only one candidate, however, if you want to make more informed choices about your ranks, make sure you read about all the candidates, especially about their stances on issues of importance to you, ahead of time.

NYSN has prepared a Voter Education Guide with important links to all the resources you need to make your voting plan.
